Configuring Netscape
After
loading Netscape onto your computer, start the program by double
clicking its icon on the desktop.
- Click
Options
-
Select Mail and News Preferences
-
Select the Servers tab
Fill
in these fields:
- Outgoing
Mail (SMTP) Server: mail.icsp.net.
-
Incoming Mail (POP) Server: mail.icsp.net.
-
POP User Name: your login name.
- Maximum
Message Size: check NONE.
-
Messages are copied from the server to the local disk: check Removed
from the Server.
- News
[NNTP] server: news.icsp.net

Select
the Identity Tab and fill in these fields:
- Your
Name: your real name.
- Your
Email: your-login-name@internetchicago.com.

Your Organization: Internet Chicago.

Click OK.
To
check your mail, click on the envelope icon on the bottom right
of the navigator window.
